Began Banjo at 14, switched to guitar at 15. Also sings lead and harmony vocals and plays harmonica, keyboards and percussion. Influenced musically by Mother (Shirley) who sang beautifully and played piano and Brother (Ross) who has sang and played bass guitar in bands since 1964.

1992 to present sings at 9:30 Children's Mass at St. Mary's Church Ogden, Utah. Sings as volunteer at Manor Care, St. Benedict's Manor, St. Joseph's Catholic School and Crestwood Care center. Also performs locally at Snow Basin Ski Resort, Wolf Creek Resort, Snowberry Inn and Eden General Store.
